Those of you who have been with me here at Earth Images for a long time, no doubt have read my ever lasting thoughts about when to stop writing this blog.

Whether it is politics, Christianity, photography, or just me griping, I go on and on lamenting over whether to continue or finally “retire” if you will, from blogging.

I would like to hear opinions, and I am “tough enough” to read criticism as well as compliments.

I have shared here some of the things I have done in my past, and also some of my most “penetrating” opinions on today’s world.

Personally, I grow weary of politics, and would love to only share my religious beliefs, but alas, the two are not separable any more. As for old photographs, even a few thousand images being shared over and over, can become boring. I rarely get any sort of comments these days, which tells me my time has likely come to say goodbye.

This blog at times, reaches only a few people, but normally a few hundred, and once, over a thousand readers.

A few of my great friends have “hung in there” for a very long time.

Whatever I do, I am eternally grateful to those of you who did, or do, stop by to look at my photos, or read the words I wrote. Publishing blog posts, is in many ways fun.

If nothing else, it keeps me off the streets if you will, and out of real trouble.

We need a little more love in the world, and even a bit of “dragonfly love,’ or the sight of an awesome Pied-billed Grebe on Duckweed , or a stirring sunrise, can be welcome.
