A Little Of This, a Little Of That

I rarely made images of captive animals. However I have taught workshops in zoos. Not only were there animals present for my students and myself that we could not likely find anywhere else, but we could at times wait for dramatic light to ensue.

Such is the case below, but the rest 0f today’s critters are wild and free.

Snowy Owls reside in Wisconsin for portions of every year, but you better be on the hunt, photographically speaking, to capture them when and where you can. They can be shockingly tolerant of human presence at times.

Sometimes wildlife photography is about the homes wild animals build for themselves. Be on the lookout for everything and anything.

Being a “hitchhiker” is sometimes all about the wild world. This deer no doubt had “bugs” on her body, and the bird was taking advantage of it.

A Red Fox mom and one of her kids,……..or should I say kits?

Preening makes for goods images.

Local waterways might make for subjects you do not expect. Whenever I captured (photographically speaking) a new species I considered that a good day.

Below I share the joys of being out on a nice autumn’s day with a camera and tripod, with subjects all around.

Then of course fall will become winter depending on where you are.

I hope you enjoyed viewing today’s imagery as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.

Outdoor photographers may get old and slowly “crumble away”, but the products or fruits of what they have done, meaning you, me and the rest of them, can live on, or even outlive us.

A closing statement if you will. One thing I have never been very good at, is physcally taking good care of myself. I am paying the price for that now and would suggest that nobody ever, live the way I have lived. There is indeed a price to pay when you do not live in a healthy fashion, and I can say, you will have wished you had protected your health

May God truly bless each of you,
Wayne
