Spreading The Word

There is one job that is given to every born again Christian. That is
to spread the Word as you have learned it and experienced it.

If I can tell ten people, and those ten can tell ten more……well, you get it.

What it does not ask us to do, is to pester people. Plant the seed,
and watch to see if it grows. If it does, water it and watch again.
Each of us, is given the right of free choice.

As with everything else, God’s Word, known as the Bible, contains
information which encourages us to do what is asked of us. Sometimes
directly and at other times by viewing what Jesus did.  We are to
emulate Him.

Mark 16:15-16 – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 28:19 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:

Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto Salvation to every one that believeth; to the
Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Mark 16:15-16
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to
the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove,
rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole
world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:10
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one
another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And
because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow
cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this
gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as
a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The scientific discovery of DNA, is proving to be a remarkable device
for revealing truths.  As we move forward, we learn more.

If science and Christianity were to partner, there is no telling what
we could come to understand.

DNA shows that each and every one of us is different………..and that each
and every one of us is the same.

Criminal investigations profit greatly from the DNA knowledge that we
are all different.  As a Christian, I am well aware that God made each
of us to be different.  What we know now from DNA, is that we are
approximately only 1 or 2% percent different. In other words, we are
exactly alike in our DNA makeup, in 98 or 99% of our bodies.

Begrudgingly, most reputable scientists now admit, that all of mankind,
every single one of us, are descended from only two people.

The most read book in the history of man,  called The Bible, has
always told us just that.

Imagine!

Initially “science” told us that we were descended from microscopic
life, billions of years ago. Then after the discovery that there are two parents of all mankind (yes they still believe in evolution as well), scientists
began suggesting that those parents began today’s population of humans
about five hundred thousand years ago. The thing about science is
that it usually does not stand still. Now, once again begrudgingly,
that same science after moving forward, says that those two people
lived somewhere around six thousand years ago.

They should have called a Christian years ago and they could have told
them all of this. It is in the book, as is everything we need to know
about life. It is called the Bible and I would be happy to come to the
aid of atheistic scientists in helping them to understand it.

If they only approached life with an open mind!

God Bless,

Wayne
