Just Pix & Info

Today I just have a few pix with the shooting information included.  I rarely include that info.  Within the next day or so I intend to write something of more significance.

Immature Yellow-headed Blackbird.  Made from my car with my 500mm lens resting on a pillow.  ISO 200, F5, 1/125th sec., Illinois Beach State Park

Immature Black-crowned Night Heron, From my car with my 500mm lens resting on a pillow.ISO 200, F4, 1/100th sec. Pre-dawn, Horicon Marsh NWR, Wisconsin

Luna Moth.  Tripod, ISO 100, 75-300mm lens set at 195mm, F14, 1/80th sec., Wyalusing State Park, Mississippi River, Wisconsin

Baby Barn Swallows.  Tripod, ISO 200, 75-300mm lens set at 170mm, F10, 1.30th sec. with dedicated electronic flash, Illinois Beach State Park.

Rock form at sunset, Badlands N.P., South Dakota.  Original image was made with a Pentax 6×7 camera and Pentax 45mm lens and Velvia 50 film..  A tripod was used with an aperture of F22.  Shutter speed is unknown.  The transparency was copied while it lay on a daylight balanced light table.  I used a Nikon D80 and 105 Micro lens, resting on a tripod to make the copy.

Nice shots Wayne, and thank you for including the shooting info. I always find it of interest as well as any locations. I’ve never spotted those blackbirds at IL Beach before so I’ll keep my eyes open for them in the future.

    • Thanks Cindy! I know I should include more of that. Most of the images I post are several generations of copies and depending on the software I used, they have lost their exif data. Too lazy sometimes to search back for the original RAW file. This young YHBB is the only one I have seen at IBeach north but there are usually some each summer at Bong. Take care.
