A Mixed Bag

My photography has always been a “mixed bag” if you will. With that said, outside of auto racing, nature or God’s Creation if you will, has lead the way.

Wildlife in action, remains a challenge today as it always has been.

Whether in action or not, the pose we find wild critters, in, will often determine whether an image is worthy or not.

When you are out, never forget the “little critters if you will. They can be large in the picture frame and that will make them large in our minds.

Of course, the land itself may be the greatest subject of all. I photographed “the land” wherever I was. I must admit the western U.S. was for me, pure gold when it came to photography. Don’t be afraid of mixed shadows and light when you are out. Pure natural visual drama, is a powerful tool.

Moving past photography, the years come and go. The older we get the faster they come. Eventually, they will bury us. That’s one reason to live fast and experience all we can while we can. Do not misunderstand me, in the world as I understand it, the love, knowledge and acceptance, our Savior and what He did for us, will take us on an eternal journey that will be the greatest ever. Still, it is a change for us and that is always a little scary, or difficult to embrace. Until we truly do embrace it, there could be some fear or apprehension.

As the years go by, my latest physical challenge seems o be getting to my feet and remaining upright. When I have been laying down for some time. If I get up to my feet a little too quickly, I find myself laying on the floor or my bed from a fall. Now that I realize that possibility, I Have become cautious.
Dear Lord what is next?

I have stayed away from politics here for a while now. Anyone who reads this blog knows that I am decidedly right of center politically. I am proudly and common sense filled with those beliefs.

In recent months I have come to suspect, that Donald trump is beginning to lose it if you will. He supports something or someone and then falls away from it a little while down the road. He goes from hate to loving the New York City mayor and on and on), or from love to hate almost daily.
Maybe schizophrenia ?
The differing “positions” he has held on the Russia, Ukraine fiasco is mind bending.

Let us keep in mind he does have a Vice President and just maybe, Republicans and others should be thinking about that.

As always, those opinions are mine and only mine. I copy nobody!

May God truly bless,
Wayne

    Hi Wayne,

When you first get up slowly, from a laying down position just sit at the edge of your bed for about 30 seconds. More if need be before standing. Our blood pressure can change upon rising, some people may feel light headed or like they could faint. It’s ok to take things slower as we age.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving & I’m thankful we have Jesus in our lives, Darlene
