Everybody needs bridges. Sometimes it is the only way to get to the
other side. We spend much of our lives trying to reach that illusive
“other side”. We all “cross those bridges when we come to them“.
Bridges that we build to get us to the other side of a river or
highway, are utilitarian when in use, but they are art when not.
Of course, there are other bridges to be built. Those that do not require
wood, steel, or brick and mortar. I myself have built and burned down
a thousand bridges in my life time. How about you?
The bridges of yesterday. Remember, bridges don’t always work both ways.
Sometimes on the other side, is darkness. Every journey is not to a
better place. I imagine we have all discovered that in our lifetimes.
Sometimes they are built, only to be burned. The world at large, is
burning bridges right now.
We all face darkness at times in our lives.
Remember, nobody needs to face it alone.
John 1:5
The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 8:12
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world;
he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the
Light of life.”
