It’s an amazing time we live in. As I watch the Hollywood elite (Madonna?), crackpot left-wing magazines, and what passes for everyday American citizens, call for the assassination of our current duly elected President, it causes me to remember with acuity, just why I moved from left to right over 20 years ago. If there truly are, democracy believing, fundamentally grounded liberals, or at least Democrats, left in this nation, one would think they might speak out against the destruction of property, the physical injury, and occasional death through carnage, that is occurring as I write this. Certainly if Hillary Clinton, or Barrack Obama, were the caring loving souls they pretend to be, we would have heard from them. Oh wait, now I remember, we did hear from Obama recently as he gave words of support to the carnage.

Neil Gorsuch, may be the most qualified, and fundamentally decent person nominated to the Supreme Court in my lifetime. Before the list of nominees was even divulged, the Democrats in the U.S. Senate made it clear, they will filibuster and obstruct, no matter what. I do understand, why socialist, constitution hating politicians would not vote for such a qualified candidate, but forecasting obstruction, without even knowing anything about the nominee, is pretty low. The bar for obstruction gets lower every day!

Here in Wisconsin, we have a Senatorial election coming up in 2018. I have politely, emailed Wisconsin U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin through her webpage, telling her that I thought Gorsuch was beyond being simply called qualified, and I let her know that I “knew” (okay, a little sarcasm) she would support his nomination. I also let her know that I would hold those who obstruct, accountable in that 2018 election via my vote. That, is a part of the democratic process. Once again, it was also done with decency and politeness, unlike how the American political left has been dealing with a Trump presidency.

We are truly finding out, once and for all, with which political philosophy lies class and decency, and which likes boorishness, and violence.

I will add that in the early 2,000s that Gorsuch was nominated and confirmed in the U.S. Senate to the U.S, Appellate Court by a total of 100 to zero. Every Republican, and every Democrat. He has only distinguished himself more since.

One thing that I took away from the recent “woman’s march”, was just how ‘lily white” it was. Not entirely, but maybe 1,000 to 1. Don’t minority woman have issues too? Might it be, that now that the elections are over, the Democrats and other liberals who cared soooo much about people of color with elections happening, are just fine keeping them back on the “plantations” of our central cities now? It’s okay though, they will drag you out again when they need you in our next big election. Same pattern, every four years. I guess those democrats don’t even need you in mid-term elections. Try voting conservative next time in an effort to actually help change your life. You will absolutely be more appreciated.

Below is a story out of Sweden. It was copied from a Facebook post and I do not know the original author, but my fact checking deems it accurate. It it is a perfect example of liberal, big government socialism. When somebody excels at something, even when others reap the benefits, rather than celebrate that excellence, and urge others to pursue the same, we must make the excellent ordinary, as to not have anybody else, anywhere else, feel unequal in some way. The results are a lackluster world in which those who fail or do not try, define who we are, rather than those who go the extra mile.
“Life in the welfare state: Annika Eriksson, a lunch lady at a school in Sweden, was told that her cooking is just too good. Pupils at the school have become accustomed to feasting on newly baked bread and an assortment of 15 vegetables at lunchtime, but now the good times are over. The municipality has ordered Eriksson to bring it down a notch since other schools do not receive the same caliber of food – and that is “unfair”. …”A menu has been developed… It is about making a collective effort on quality, to improve school meals overall and to try to ensure everyone does the same,” the head of the unit responsible for the school diet scheme told the local newspaper. …From now on, the school’s vegetable buffet will be halved in size and Eriksson’s handmade loafs will be replaced with store-bought bread.
Question: Is this “fairness”?
What a pathetic way to look at life. When somebody does something great, stop it immediately and make sure nobody else aspires to be different, or great. Make sure everybody performs at the same low-level, rather than attempt to raise everyone up to a higher level.
This is the leftest America we are to aspire to.
One size fits all socialism, eventually leads to a form of communism. It seems the British are discovering that by rejecting it, and leaving the European Union.
Countries can find common ground and live in peace and work together without giving up their sovereignty such as we have over the past four years. For those of you who believe in our constitution, did you know in the 11th hour of Obama’s Presidency, he had our Ambassador to the U.N. sign an agreement towards international gun control? I don’t think we’ll have to worry about that for the next four years, but keep it in mind because our constitution, and the principles that were in place for founding this nation, are always, always, always at odds with the political left. In today’s America, the extreme political left unfortunately, means the Democrat Party.

I know for a fact, that there are liberal Democrats who read this blog.  I also know that my words grow stronger with almost every political/social article I write. My words have changed exponentially with the world around me. I don’t dislike you, but I hate what you are facilitating with your complicity. If you are young, the only hope is to pray you begin to listen to the other side of the argument. If you are old, I beg of you to stop and look at what you believed at one time, and what you are standing for today. You will be stunned.
