You never know. I have a friend who’s presently going through a tough physical time. My friend is a life long athlete, who runs and works out weekly if not daily. She never smoked, never did drugs, and consumes a healthy diet. Those facts, only make it more difficult ( I would think) for her (or maybe the rest of us) to understand, why her?

The truth is of course, there are things that you and I do not have control over. I think she will be fine, but no matter what life brings her, she will win.

When we first met I could tell immediately that she was a spiritually minded person. Just the same, it was months before I ever heard the word God fall from her lips. Over the years, that word became common. We have not hung around together for several years, but there is this thing called email and of course, there is social media. She understands her place in God’s Kingdom and that fact is making her a stronger person through these trials. She believes in the power of group prayer. It is amazing how we can deal with life’s tribulations when we understand how to serve God, and when we have undying FAITH.

This friend has been extremely kind and supportive of me during my own difficult times. Please pray for her.

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

There is a light on the horizon. It might seem small at first, but with faith, it will grow.
