The gallery below is in keeping with several posts I have made over the past two years. The flower images you see are being displayed for posterity’s sake. In the past I have created posts of specific places such as Crex Meadows, or species of birds like Sandhill Cranes. This time around a generalized photographic view of flowers is the subject at hand.
I can think of no greater photographic subject than flowers. You can do more compositionally with a flower than almost any other aspect in nature. Below you will find portions of flowers, entire blossoms and whole fields of flowers. I am presenting them for “photography’s sake” and without information. I can assure you, the 50 flower images you see below, do not even scratch the surface of the pictures I have created over these many years. Most of these images can be found as a part of other galleries in Earth Images. If anyone wishes information on photo technique, or specifics about the type and name of a flower, email me or leave a comment at the bottom of the gallery.
For those of you who are allowed a small email cache or have a slow internet connection, I apologize in advance.
