The Gift of Art

If ever I’ve met anyone who was born to be an artist, it is Darlene Jansen.  I met Darlene a few years back when she was just beginning to walk the path of serious photography.  It seemed to me that her journey had just begun and she was already creating art.  Some of us have to work at “art” and some are born to it.  Darlene is born to it, but then she works at it.   I might add that she works hard at it.  I suspect Darlene could be (and is) an artist at many things, but her photography is something that can be shared and for that we are the lucky ones.  We are given a gift.

Enjoy exploring her composition, use of depth of field and point of focus.  It is all done for a reason.  I am proud to call her a friend, and equally proud to share her work.
