A Little of This, ALittle of That

Let us begin today’s nature journey with a white bird on dark water.

I loved the way this Snowy Egret popped out from the dark background of marsh water. A few clicks of added contrast when I got home, not much but a few, helped to darken that background and lighten the bird, just a smidgen if you will.

A few more images of birds.

Yes, I sought after and photographed many spiders in my life. They were in fact, a favorite subject of mine. To me, this one’s a beauty.

Metallic Beatle?

Eye to eye with a frog.

Early morning, a slightly iced over pond, and ice chunks. Everything is a photo to me.

Smokey Mountain fog.

I love sunrise or sunset colors with the silhouetted shapes of trees. I generally made a variety of compositions. Even small variations make a difference.

Clean and simple. Just a flower blossom or two, and a clean, unobtrusive background.

Let us meet some mammals, since we are mammals.

Jackrabbit. This one was photographed, through an open car window.

Yellow bellied Marmots play fighting in Colorado.

An Elk cow in Yellowstone N. P. Gee, I think she spotted me.

Many photographers would hate the bright light and dark background here. I liked it.

I would like to say thank you to Fox Online, for recently presenting and “”liking” a recent blog post of mine.

Admittedly, when something like that or a group sometimes from another country, copies a post to share, and it goes out to a thousand people, I get nervous as I am only a small timer sharing old imagery and then boring people with my opinions.

Time to preach.
Well, sort of.

Sometimes God may use us, not in spite of our brokeness, but because of it. Even when we fail, God, be He in the personage of the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit, will use us to help others to SEE His Divinty.

Moving on!

Recently a slew of real crime shows has appeared on tv, including Cops (remember that?), Prison and Jail, violence in American courthouses, and a wide variety of crime shows being shown as they happened. No actors, real police, real jailers, real criminals and so on.

I became addicted to these shows and actually found myself yelling at the television. I was seriously finding myself angry, sad, and fearful of a nation that is this selfishly corrupt, filled with booze or drugs, and seemingly lost for good.

Well, as you may have guessed, I turned off these shows of sadness, hatefulness, selfishness, drunkenness, drug addiction, and tiny l hope if any.

What good is it to be saddened every day, when we do not, or possibly cannot, do anything literal, to stop it or at least slow it down?

There is an answer, and God is that answer, but they (the criminals) must at some point, discover His literal existence and find good places to study what it all means.

Perhaps finding people who actually know the answer is in order? It worked for me and many of you.

May God truly Bless each of those who feel lost,
Wayne
