I decided to “flip the order a little bit today, and give a few words first, and then share some images.
I offer a lot of opinions on these pages. Predictions too. What will Happen tomorrow and why.Subjects that are far removed from photography. I give you what after some thought, I honestly believe. Right or wrong, I will live by my word.
If I am ever dismayed over my comments or predictions not being correct, you have my permission to “metaphorically” kick me in the pants and wake me up to the fact, that I was wrong.
Now for a few pictures.
Blanding’s Turtle. If you look carefully, you will see that this guy is “giving a ride” to some leeches. I love turtles. But I can do with or without leeches.

Male Red-Breasted Merganser.

Gull with something to say.

A young (kit) Red Fox. One of my all-time favorite subjects. I have spent countless hours with these guys.

A male Baltimore Oriole. A striking bird and a good pose.

Coming soon. “winter“. This is Wisconsin

Lupine and dew. it’s amazing what a few drops of dew can add to a subject like this. Going out early in the morning is how I got so many dewy images.

A flower in the woods. I know not what this is, I only know that the color of the flower, in front of the green background, jumped out at me and said take my picture.
We all need to listen to our subjects.

A few more words.
I wasn’t going to approach this next subject today, but we only go round once on this earth so, here it is. You of course are welcome, to take it or leave it.
Why did Trump win?
He won via votes from a fair number of moderate Democrats, and some people who often vote Democrat but do not identify with that party. That’s what put him over. Those people were white, black, brown, yellow and red. That may be the most significant point.
The reasons are by far, mainly two subjects. The economy, and the border. They are by the way, linked in some ways. The billions spent and wasted on illegal’s and the crimes they committed, obviously could not be used for programs for Americans, be they black, brown, white, yellow or red.
Life and even politics can be simple when you don’t pit race against race, or color against color, and you simply look at everyone as equal. In the end, we all have the same needs.
I have learned in recent years to be far more discerning in who I read or listen to. Always God first, people later. There are many people in this world, but only one Almighty God. That God has a book, and it trumps (pun intended) all others.
When I do listen to people, I try but sometimes fail to undertand why they say what they say. Do they have skin in the game so to speak? Do they carry prejudices? Everything has a specific point of view.
Sometimes I long to go back to a world where people, including me, do not have a perpetual michrophone ( the internet such as this blog) of sorts to “make noise” with.
The world, especially the (true) Christian world, knows the difference between the sometimes hard righteousness of biblical teaching for our bennefit, and hate. The Word of God, does not spew hate, but often we do.
God Bless,
Wayne
Thessalonians:4;
1
Furthermore, then we beseech you Bretheren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have received us, how you ought to walk and to please God so you would abound more and more
2
For you know what Commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
Above is a command to attempt to be Holy and that can only be carried out by an abiding Faith in Christ, and the Cross.
A frequent reminder of the Lord Jesus, and the Cross in which allowed us, to obtain Salvation, by the Grace of God, and Faith in Jesus, and being cleansed by His blood.
