I have been both a social creature, and a loner. I have enjoyed both.

I have known some who I consider social creatures, to the point that they cannot go to the grocery store alone. They cannot go eat alone. They cannot fill their car up with gas alone. They cannot function alone, or so they think. I think they count too much on others, and sell themselves short.

I also have known others who run at the sight of other people. They will go to movies alone, go out and eat alone, or take a Sunday ride in the car alone.

Now I have done those things alone as well, but I also did them with others.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with either in my opinion. Depending on who you might talk to, I am one and/or the other. In fact, I am and always have been both.

I loved my time in nature creating images and communing with everything around me, and I was happy going it alone. So to speak, because when in nature you are never really alone. That said, I loved shooting with friends also. Someone to be there to share the experience with. I also thoroughly enjoyed teaching workshops both one on one, as well as with dozens of participants. Giving slide shows with even more people.

I have taken long car trips all over the country with friends to pursue nature and other photography subjects. Sometimes for thousands of miles. I have done the same alone. I enjoyed every mile of both.

It is often that when some serial killer or mass murderer is found, people say I did not know him well, he was so quiet. A loner. Now days, the endless slaughter that goes on in our cities and elsewhere, is often done by somebody who has an active social life and many friends.

Good and bad live in the hearts of both loners and social type people.

The loners or the quiet ones if you will, and the “group think” sorts that need to be surrounded by a crowd, are in fact evil or good, at about the same ratio.

When I am the quiet introvert, as well as when I am the social animal looking for an audience, I should be expected to behave well and to not harm others because they are different than me, or because I am bored and just want to hurt someone. Those seem to be the biggest reasons for murder today.

Different sorts of people make the world interesting. Tall, short, thin, heavy, young, old, man, woman, black, white, red, yellow. We do however have a right to hold each other accountable for what we do. Accused murderers need to be kept away from innocent people. Not released on a nine thousand dollar bond that is then reduced to nine hundred. An amount that anyone, no matter how much a criminal, can raise in this day in this age. Yes that just happened. somewhere in Illinois, but it could be any place.

Our differences should make us interesting not deadly.

One reason for our inability as a society to differentiate between someone just being different from us, and someone being evil, is a lack of basic fundamental common sense. The common sense that most of us are born with, can be removed during mis-education. You can teach people to not have a trait, just as you can to have one. That is true at home, in the media, and above all in school.

Godly morality it is not even being taught in many if not most churches today. Neither is the actual true Word of the Living God being taught.

The answer to accepting good people for who they are, and seeing evil people for what they are, is written in the Word of God.

There is nothing happening today which is not addressed in the Bible. Not even the weather anomalies that we are seeing. First prophesized thousand of years ago. Monetary issues and the pursuance of a one world monetary system. Also the turmoil in the Middle East, is intensifying like clockwork. One world government, a one world monetary system, a few telling the majority what to do, where to go, who their leaders will be. True religion being abolished.

Notice I did not say there will no religion or no churches.

No matter what is supposed to happen in this world, true believers should always fight evil. Understanding evil helps, and accepting it only aides the killers and the thieves.

Together we are a force. All colors, all nationalities, from any and all corners of the earth.

I have spent parts of my life in darkness. Living in the shadows if you will. I came out of the darkness and into the light. I would say, do the same. I did not say I am perfect, hardly. Only Jesus Christ was that.

Let me now remember what this blog is supposed to be about, and close today with nature photography’s three primary subjects, wildlife, landscape, and macro.

I always found my time making images, whether by myself or with a friend or client, the perfect way to remove myself, be it temporarily, from the tribulations (an important Biblical term for a born again Christians) of this world.

The images below follow a pattern in my photographic life. I made the wildlife image while with a friend, the landscape was created near a small group of strangers, and the macro was made when I was alone. It was hard to find many who wanted to crawl around on their hands and knees for an image.

The Bible is something you either believe or don’t believe. You cannot pick and choose which verses to believe, and pretending for an hour on Sunday morning is of little value.

2 Timothy 3:1
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

2 Corinthians 4:4
The god of this age (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Matthew 24:21-22
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short
