Making Photography Personal, Plus “Eternal Vison”

Capturing in photos, the beauty, power and majesty that resides on this planet, is not a job that needs to be done, but rather a gift and a privilege that we are given. Through location, timing (season, time of day etc,) and compositional choices, we are able to add our own personal stamp to what we see.  As image makers, what we see from the inside out, rather than only the outside in, should be reflected in our photos.

That of course is my opinion.

I stand by the above, but it is the trivial portion of this post.

There is an eternity to our existence. Many, maybe most people do not believe that. It is true that there is a definite “time stamp” on our current bodies and therefore on our lives here on this earth, as we now know it.

These bodies were made to be eternal, but due to sin, they became only long lived, and then shorter and shorter. A hundred years ago the average expiration date was maybe sixty years. Today with man’s increasing knowledge of science, the average is somewhere in our late seventies.

Thanks to a gracious and loving God, there is more to come after that. Where, is up to us as granted by God.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 14:2 – 14:3
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I (Jesus) would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again (that time grows near), and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Salvation, and a blessed eternity can be accepted or refused. Christ, took our beating and our death for us, we only need to understand that, accept it, and lead a life that shows we will truly attempt to live as God planned for us to.

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul (the murderers and haters of this world) . Rather fear Him (God) who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Revelation 20:15
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Enjoy life now, but prepare for an eternity,
Wayne

As I sit outside in our backyard & it is getting dark, I listen to all the birds still singing, cars heard off in the distance & have great feelings of love of Jesus in my heart. Your beautiful images & words of God put me in a most enjoyable frame of mind. Thank you friend, God Bless you always Wayne.
