Here we are, another year has passed and another Christmas is upon us. The year 2020 may live in infamy, but that does not mean that the Christmas of that same year, cannot be happy and fulfilling.
My wishes are for each of you to have a joyful and blessed Christmas.
My memories are filled with many a Christmas past. The anticipation and the event itself. We used to actually sing Christmas carols including religious ones in our Christmas celebration at the public grammar school I attended. While the hustle and bustle of the season often caused some anxiety, when the time actually came for the eve and day, it was happy and warm.

While the secular holiday is very nice, let us not forget that the namesake of Christmas, Jesus Christ, is the good news that this day was meant to celebrate.

The Son of God, has always existed, but the Son of man was created by God to walk among us as one of us. He is often Biblically referred to as the Word, and the Word has always been with us.
The Trinity, may be the hardest thing for us humans to wrap ourselves around. One God, three parts. It is often called the Three God Head.
Jesus is not part man and part God. He is fully man, and fully God. Jesus was first called Immanuel which means God with us.
He was born of woman (Mary), as God poured out His Deity into the form of a man. That was the only way we sinful humans could be in the presence of God. We then had God with us, while God had us with Him. Jesus Christ, had full possession of His deity, while using no expression of it. I did not create that previous sentence, it was first coined by a minister. He called upon the Father for the miracles He performed, despite the fact that He was God himself, and could have performed them himself. When he walked all day, His feet hurt. He got hungry and cold just like you and me. When they nailed Him to that old rugged Cross, He felt the horrific pain just as you or I would. He took the weight of our shame for us as well. Back when Satan tempted Him, he had to overcome that temptation.
He is the only human to have never sinned.
His mother Mary, and His step dad (my terminology) Joseph, were chosen by God. She was informed what would occur face to face by an Angel, and he was informed in a dream from another Angel. She was Jesus’ blood mother, even though she was human. Never underestimate how God felt about her.
Joseph taught Jesus the trade of carpentry. Tradesmen back then were poor, but highly honorable. Jesus was raised simply but righteously. We first meet Jesus (after the birth) in the Bible when he was about 12 years old. I offer the conjecture, and that’s all it is, that the young boy Jesus was just himself realizing who He was at that time.
Those of you reading this can keep or reject my “Jesus comments”, as some you are nonbelievers and others have been taught differently. Life however will be better and complete, and your existence will become eternal, if you do believe.
As an American, I fully support and honor your rights to celebrate your own beliefs and holidays, although I live to gently convince others of the truth. Just don’t try to take my rights away.
Below I share with you a Christmas prayer from Rick Renner on the website listed below.

1. A Prayer to Remember What Christmas is All About
Lord, I thank You for coming to earth so You could redeem me. When I think of the extent to which You were willing to go in order to save me, it makes me want to shout, to celebrate, and to cry with thankfulness. You love me so much, and I am so grateful for that love. Without You, I would still be lost and in sin. But because of everything You have done for me, today I am free; my life is blessed; Jesus is my Lord; Heaven is my home; and Satan has no right to control me. I will be eternally thankful to You for everything You did to save me! I pray this in Jesus’ name!
~ Rick Renner
Beautiful!!
Notice Rick prays to the Father in the name of the Son, Jesus. That’s just as Jesus taught us to do in the Bible.
What you see below is from God as is reported in the Bible through Isaiah and John.
Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
John 1:14 – And the Word (Jesus the Son) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
To all a goodnight.
God Bless,
Wayne
