Visual Melodies…Listening To The Music

“Don’t die with your music still in you” Wayne Dyer

“When I see a beautiful photograph…I can almost hear the music” Ansel Adams

Photography (especially nature) is like a beautiful song.  You are the singer songwriter. You write with a camera and sing as you edit and again when you share.

Some songs are colorful and  provide the listener (viewer?) with a special mood.

The Dog Days of Summer. Some songs are sad.  They still need to be written and sung.  This male Red Fox is suffering the agony that the heat and insects of mid-summer can bring.

There are times when the melody is more important than the lyrics.  I can almost hear this Meadowlark singing.

Every song can’t bring satisfaction (The Stones?).   Sometimes songwriters leave you wondering.  What does lurk in the shadows?  The more you write the more questions appear.  Colorado.

Some songs just write themselves.  We just pass along what we have heard and seen.  Eastern Kingbird.
