There’s no subject more naturally captivating for a camera, than the flower. Whether they live in your backyard garden, along a remote trail in the forest, the prairie, the mountains, or even the desert, they cry out to have their likeness captured as to share it with others.
Over the years, I have turned my camera towards flowers probably more than any other subject.
Whether we create close-up images of a portion of one flower, or a field full of them, the satisfaction realized via the colors, textures, shapes and moods, is never ending. Sometimes, you can almost smell the blossom when you look at the image.
I believe, the specific group of flowers I chose to share today, were 100% found in the wild. There is of course nothing wrong with human planted garden flowers, but nature does a great job without store bought seed packages. Of course, oft times, the flowers you find in the wild are domestic and have “escaped” from flower prison to live in the wild.
In older times some years ago, I considered doing the same thing. Ha,ha.
One final thought. Too many “flower shooters” are afraid to use backlight, top light, and sidelight in their photos. There are many ways to display and share the beauty of flower power.

I often treated subjects like butterflies, as if they were flowers with wings.

I want to say a special hi to my great friend Darlene. I have been having issues in recieving coments to this blog and please do email me whenever you feel like it. It is simply great to hear from you.
Now let us realize soon to be here Easter for what it is. Jesus Christ, not man or God, but both man and God, gave of himself and took our beating so we could have life, and have it more abundabtly. So we couldbe forgiven and one day reside in Heaven.

May God richly Bless each of you, and may each of you have a great Easter.
