The Spice Of Life

The saying is actually, variety is the spice of life. When it comes to image making. I have used that term before, and will likely use it again.

Getting sharp images is usually a goal in photography. With that said, there are some images that need to be soft and delicate as that is what attracted us to the subject in the first place.

The images below each had a soft, dreamy “attitude” if you will. Yes, the third and fourth images are black and white. Photography can be an attempt to copy reality, or it can be a display of your artistic mind.

Birds in flight can be difficult subjects at times, but no wildlife photographer should be without such imagery. My years of car racing photography helped me a great deal when I turned to nature, and lots of wildlife for my image making.

Of course, man can fly too.

Water if you will.

A winter sunrise, with snow &ice.

Even a few drops of water can help.

Some “little critters”.

Of course, it never hurts to take a break from nature, and concentrate on some subjects from man.

Finally, let us sail off into the sunset as we watch a friend soak up the atmosphere.

Well, one more.

Apparently this Kestrel, who is hunting, simply cannot read.

Hopefully you have all gotten what I wrote and displayed today as I had no small amount of trouble putting this together and sharing it.

May God Bless,
Wayne
