Let us begin today’s journey with some wings if you will.

As beautiful and important as a world full of wings is, prayer is more so.

Like many kids, back when we would go to church, or I was forced to go to Sunday school, prayer was a part of the procedure. I found it interesting but I wondered if God was truly listening. When my prayers were He was listening.

I have prayed in much of my life, accept during those times when I sinned the most. It seemed like I was admitting my sinfulness.

I began praying more as I got older and then turned to prayer as a daily event.

Does the Bible contain prayers?

Psalm 25 Make me know your ways O Lord, teach me your paths, lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God my salvation, for you wait all the day long

Corinthians 12:9 Lord we thank you that your power is made in our weakness, and that your Grace is sufficient or us.

My normal prayer cycle is based on my personal observations of the world, and how I should navigate it, as well as my fears, needs, and above ll, those I see in others. Sometimes I pray dozens of times in a single day. I pray about my needs, but especially about the needs of others. I do so in my own words.

Also, as a form of worship

I pray for people who are or have been in my life, as well as those I have never met. I pray quite often for my ex-wife. Yes my ex-wife.

I end a prayer by doing so in the name of Jesus. My Savior. The Bible tells us to do so as Christ answered a question from His Decuples.
