Below I have ten varied nature photos to share.
Soaring.
A Ring-billed Gull gliding with a blue sky backgroiund. When possible, take note of everything that is within the picture frame, even if it is only a small patch of sky.

Ah, soon the snows of winter will be upon us. Us and our furry friends in nature that is. Getting images of animals such as this female White-tailed deer in the context of their environment is always a plus.

This little Pika was photographed by me at about 14,000 feet in Colorado. It was busy gathering food for a winter cache. The plant you see un the photo, helps preserve the other plants so they will not rot while in the rocks.
The Lord has a myriad of ways to help His creation survive.

Lake Michigan on a somewhat breezy, choppy day at sunrise. The low level light and the natural ripples, add a feeling of dimension to the scene.

Washington state and the Pacific Ocean at sunrise. If memory serves, and sometimes it does and sometimes it does not, this is Rialto Beech.

Caspian Tern courtship. Apparently a nice meal is all it takes for those lady terns.

For me to find subjects, apparently all it takes is a snow bank, with a large dimple if you will, in shadow, for a photographic opportunity to ensue. .

There is nothing like a pretty butterfly on a spring day. The Karner Blue you see below, is or was I am not sure, a highly endangered species. I was thrilled to get images of such, and even happier that I found this specimen, in my home state of Wisconsin.

Photographing waterfalls, does not always mean capturing the entire falls for the power of it all. Small, gentle scenes, provide insight and information whole provoking a different sort of mood.

Finally, a fallen feather, with a bit of light poking though the leaves of a tree, which adds not only brightness, but some texture via the sidelight. The image pops if I may say.

I know there are some of you, who are wondering with all that is happening, and has happened in the political realm recently, why am I silent?
I am sure that at least half of you are glad about that.
I had for a while, moved out of the realm of politics here. There are others who are better at that than me, and who are immersed in what is happening. I am currently listening rather than talking about that subject. We live in a scary world.
I will of course, still torture some of you with my religious thoughts and do so frequently.
Do you want your burden (sin) lifted from your shoulders? Hand it off to Christ. God has provided us with a plan, and an opportunity. Jesus can take our burden (sin) unto His shoulders. We need, knowledge, truth, and faith to complete our journey to the :Lord..
What I, the Bible, and Christian teachers of any repute are not saying, is that it is okay to just keep on sinning, because Jesus has your back. God, the one (triune) God, needs your journey to be a never ending effort to combat sin. We cannot cleanse the very sin we have fostered ourselves, no matter how much we try. That cleansing, can only become a reality, via the Blood of Christ.
Okay, how did I get so smart you might say? I am not at all smart. Firstly I listen to Godly preachers of the Gospel who put God and the Bible first. They do not “recreate” the Word, to make it what they “think it ought to be”.
We have a responsibility to learn an understand the Bible, as it was written to us, not to either subtract or add on as we see fit. Many of today’s churches do subtract and add as they see fit in order to drown you in modern day “political correctness. Liberal “Christian” theology, is deadly, as is the current day overreach as to God’s plan on how we obtain Salvation is harmful. The Bible needs to be understood, not to be reinvented to suit the purposes and to satisfy a select few.
Who we listen to and learn from, is of the utmost importance. I therefore suggest, you search well beyond me, and learn from better teachers.
Finaly, I give you a few words on the subject of Charley Kirk.
The hatred and vulgarity that we are seeing in several places from the political left, directed to the now deceased Kirk, from liberals and Democrats, is not as much a hatred of the polical right, as it is hatred towards the one and only God. Kirk was a Christian. He was hated for that, above everything else.
God of course is the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May God Bless each each and every one of you
