Thoughts About Images

Sometimes when we make photos, we do so instinctively, and without thought. That can be good, but the way to address the images we make, at least in my opinion, is to think through what we did and why we did it, so we can use that technique again.

Leading lines.

There are an innumerable amount of ways, to use leading lines in photography.

Below the tree trunk on a autumn day takes us on a journey from almost the ground, to glorious fall color and a few peaks at the contrasting cool blue sky.

The fallen leaves below are giving us a peak at a tree root that leads us to the other end of the forest. A journey if you will. Just like life, photography is a journey.

Sometimes dark forest backgrounds can make a pretty pink (or gold, or blue, etc.) and white flower, jump off the picture frame into our view,

When out creating images, everybody understandably wants the most unique subjects to photograph. Bird photographers are no different and rare birds are usually on our minds. Crows, are not unusual. From the standpoint of a photographer, they are however one of the most interesting, and I feel one of the most photogenic birds around. In this case,he/she cares little about my presence.

Hungry? An Egret with some sort of Sea (actually lake) creature makes for a nice behavioral image. Always be on the lookout for images that tell a story.

Dragonfly, plant, and dew. Riotous colors.

Mountain scenes, even in the Rocky Mountains, need not necessarily be of huge, spectacular monoliths, or deep dark valleys. A simple mountain creek, a few rocks and some blue sky, all in some nice light can tell a story too.

Let us stay high in the mountains of Colorado with this Mountain Goat as he oversees the ground ahead of him. Some days are just great.

On to other things.

When I write on these pages about our Holy God, the most difficult part to explain, for me anyway, is the Trinity. Also known as the three God Head, or the Triune God. It was difficult for me to grasp at one time. That is why Christianity needs educated, Godly people, to spread the Gospel. Hopefully, those better than me.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are indeed three separate entities. There are three unique and different aspects, with some differences, of the one God.
I said the one God.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Sprit have differing applications of jobs if you prefer.

With that said, again there is in fact only one God in the universe. That God is indeed triune, both in His application, and when and how He deals with us.

Without the understanding of the Almightily God, and His purpose, and who He is with His Trinity, it is difficult for us mere mortals, with sinful natures, (thanks to Adam), to fulfill the Godly life that the Lord (Father, Son & Holy Spirit wishes for us.

May you be Blessed by God,the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The one and only God.
