Flower Power + The Journey

My last post was to a large degree, political in nature…….Yuck.

Every post I write is a journey. Will 5 people read it? 200? 1000? That has all happened.

Today let us take a journey into the past. Well, my past, and some photos for the finish.

I share with you on these pages, subjects like my past and my thoughts on the world in general, not because I am in the slightest way important, but because I know those subjects best, and we all share some traits that we develop from simply living life.

Today begins with me remembering, and wondering, about my own journey. I am betting, that everyone reading this, has had an interesting life’s journey.

Yes life is a journey. Sometimes we travel, sometimes we don’t, but it is a journey of learning and adopting. Keep the best, and toss out the rest.

I have loved and I have been loved, and the second part of that is a miracle from God. They were in some respects angels, to plan a life with me. Maybe not too bright, but angels none the less.

Day by day, minute by minute, we learn.

I can think of three of the female persuasion, where either they or I both advanced and then retreated, several times before the separation was permanent. Back and forth, back and forth.

I planned some of my life, but the rest came up one shocking moment after another.

I was married for 15 years, and it should have been two, or maybe zero. Not nearly as much because of her, as because of me. She put up with a lot.

I pray almost every day, that her life (if she still lives), has been rich and productive. Yes I really do mean that. I feel the same about two other romantic interests that danced into my life after she and I, declared ourselves finished.

The journey can be long, and can be either a failure or a success. Either way, we still need to make those journeys. You never know until you take the chance.

There’s an old song that tells us,” love is the answer”. I don’t know if it is the answer, but it sure makes for a more pleasant journey than hate.

I thank each of you for tolerating this selfish subject.

Well now, since I have so brilliantly (ha, ha) gotten all that off my chest, how about a few photos.

Flower power.

Whether it is one blossom or many, planted by man or God, in the wilderness or they are in the middle of a city, flowers are certainly a gift to the art of photography. In one photo, I share with you some leaves rather than flowers.

May God richly bless each of you,
