Firstly, this post was written over a period of time, as thoughts occured to me.

Not many years ago, if anyone would have told me, that soon you will be writing about prayer and how I and others, who I respect, pray, and what he Bible says about such, I would have suggested for them, a visit to a doctor.

Time marches on, and we can remain forever the same, or retreat, or move forward. Prayer, has become the center of my life.

You may ask, Wayne, do you really believe in all that prayer mumbo-jumbo?

Yes I do. I believe with conviction, what I have written below.

I can understand why some would doubt me. If I did not believe in it (prayer), I would not do it.

I do not treat prayer as something that God owes me. He owes me nothing. Yet He offers me much.

God gives me more than I could e ever earn, or deserve.

I am a mere mortal sinner, and cannot understand the ways of the creator of the universe. Yet, I have faith. When I do not get what I want, it is because I should not have it. There are endless reasons why mere mortals such as us, cannot or should not at times, have what we pray for. Even when it seems good on the surface.

I have faith. It took me most of my life, to understand faith.

I trust God more than I trust myself.

I am proud to be a part of Creation, but I try to never forget, He is the Creator. Many try to recreate Him to fit what we believe are our needs. I have done that in years past.

I did not come to God and prayer on my own. I read and listened to others who were far ahead of me. Through prayer, I then separated the wheat from the chaff. Everybody, needs help to understand but I do not base my beliefs on others.

I pray a lot.

By the way, money is not evil. The love of money is.

Birds give as many expressions, in their own way, as do mammals. They also are the kings and queens of posing.

There’s that moment when they explode into flight.

Two mammals, one alive and one dead for dinner. A Red Fox and a squirrel I believe.

Of course, what would a small portfolio from me be without a sunrise or sunset or two. Cave Point, Door County, Lake Michigan, Wisconsin.

Knowing how to judge right from wrong, is the essence of being a true Christian. It took me a lifetime just to understand Godlyness. I still need more lessons. They will continue until this tired old body dies,In which case, I will go to be with the Lord. I enjoy my earthly life, but to be with God, is better.

Final word. Money is not sinful. the love and/or worship of money is.
