Photos & Thoughts

First some thoughts.

I have recently began the thought process of deciding a time to “retire” if you will, from writing this blog. I am retired more or less from everything else and the time might be right to end this.

I have intentionally eased up on the subject of politics. Not because my beliefs have changed. Hardly!! There is enough politics on the internet, TV, radio, and .elsewhere. For a while anyway, I decided to make this blog a respite. from such.

I will evaluate the purpose to continue, and then decide. My own satisfaction for keeping on, might just not be enough anymore.

In the meantime, let us view a few clicks of the shutter, from my past.

It seems to me, that the purpose of a nature photographer, is to interpret the natural God given art we see around us, and then share that with others.

Ahhhhh, the Badlands of South Dakota at the first light of day.

Not far away from that in Custer State Park, we have a couple of Bighorn Sheep rams, having a rest.

Same species, different critter.

Prairie Dog.

I treat old buildings as if they are rock forms. I do not hesitate to do so under unique light patterns, just as I do with rock forms or mountains.

This location is a very special (to me), nature preserve in Wisconsin, called Hawthorn Hollow. I have taught many individual, and especially large group workshops there.

Look down, and look up when Autumn visits.

Bald Eagle in flight.

A Sandpiper and a Great Blue Heron

The simple truth!

The Father and the Son, are two different entities, but the same God. Not easy to understand for mere mortals such as us, but clear and simple with enough Bible study and a good Bible. God also is, the Holy Spirit, which can/will dwell inside of us. He will fill us with love and knowledge, and He will “convict” us if and when we sin, which will drive us to repentance.

May God truly bless,
Wayne

Amazing Grace

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
2
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
4
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
