Sweet Memories

Firstly I want to say that my last blog post has turned out to be the strangest I have ever made. It came out showing parts I had deleted, and not showing parts that I believed I had published. I am not even sure if all of you received the same thing.

Whatever it was, I imagine that it was something I did, not the blog host. Anyway, let us try again with a new article and images. .

Ain’t I Cute? There’s nothing like posing for the camera

Ground Squirrel

Loving not fighting. These are Caspian Terns, male and female, going through their courtship ritual. Bribery for love.

A wild duck in steel blue waters. The whole image counts.

Grebe circles. You never know how a wild waterfowl behave, or which way they will turn and swim.

Keeping up with your subjects is always a challenge in wildlife photography.

There’s nothing like being allowed a close presence from a wild critter such as this migrating Snowy Owl. It is sitting on a roadside sign and I seemed to be of little consequence to her or him.

A flowery lake above 12,000 feet in Colorado.

You never know until you get there.

Golden arches (not McDonalds) in Utah. Golden arches (still not McDonalds) and a shocking blue sky, makes for a strong but beautiful contrast.

This mountain meadow lives also in Colorado and you can see in the distance, some of America’s most stunning sand dunes.

From a Lake Michigan (Illinois)n shore, the light of a new day is born.

Speaking of which, a Red Fox on a beach nor far away from the previous one.

Sing Song

Here in the U.S., on this coming Memorial Day, let us remember those who gave their “last full measure of devotion”, so we could be free. So many itoday would turn over their lives to governments. We make the government they do not make us.

So let us this holiday on Monday, memorialize those who looked ahead to remaining free, rather than serving a master. God is the only true Master.

So may God Bless,
Wayne
