Photography requires some contemplation, as does life itself.
The glory of autumn.
Whether it be a grand scene, or some fallen leaves, autumn is a feast for outdoor photographers.

Spring too is a delight. These flowers (Virginia Bluebells) in spring greenery, make a nice statement about that season in my native state of Wisconsin

Sometimes looking down, and catching some nice sidelight while that light gives forth the beauty of morning or afternoon, and the direction of that light creates texture via the differences in light and shadow, is as powerful as any grand landscape.
These were made in the Badlands of South Dakota.

It’s quite the moment when a critter such as this bull Elk and you meet face to face. . This was in Wyoming

Finally, an image of a Wood Satyr or some such butterfly or moth.

I need to dig out my books as to ID these fellows better.
Sharp images are a goal of all photographers. Sometimes however, the scene you are shooting has a naturally dreamy sort of quality to it via the atmosphere. The sharing of crisp sharp images is great, but naturally soft and dreamy scenes are just as important.
Below we have one such scene.

Life is an ever evolving experience. Sometimes it slows to stagnation, and other times it is Bullet fast.
My life (your’s too?) has changed and evolved as drastically as I could live with. Every step along the way, there was change.
Sometimes that is good, sometimes not so much.
Marriage then divorce.
Romances then none.
Work for someone else, then work for yourself.
Drink (alcohol) every week, quit drinking for life.
Smoke two packs of cigarettes a day, then quit cold turkey for the rest of my life.
Travel this nation, and then go almost nowhere.
Take some pictures for fun, then go fulltime for money.
Then quit.
Whether we evolve or devolve is really an opinion. To me, moving closer to and worshipping God, transcends everything else.
How many of you who knew or know me, think I am crazy because of all that “God talk?”.
How many of you who think I am crazy for that, go to a church and think all that religion stuff is for Sunday mornings.?
We each must find our own path and make our own trip. Help the Good Lord help you, and it will be an amazing journey.
May God Bless,
Wayne
