Living The Wildlife

By wildlife, I mean the animal world, whether they run, hop, crawl or fly.

There’s nothing more enjoyable than to with camera (and lenses and tripod) in hand, head outside to our favorite locales to create imagery of our great friends, the animals.

The Red Fox below, is a male, just at that age when he had made the move, from pup to grownup. They are gorgeous at that age.

I got this shot from my car, at the edge of a woodland in Illinois. Cars make great blinds and you can bet, a great many of the wildlife photos you see were made that way.

This one is that of a father, with one of his offspring.

Stretch…………..
Ruddy Turnstone

Prairie Dogs or critters like ground squirrels, will give you great poses, sometimes for hours.

These young Marmots played and played and played. I was in the open, and not far from them. This occurred somewhere between 12,000 and 14,000 feet in Colorado.

This little Pica was nearby. It is storing food for the long, extremely cold winter it was about to experience. The particular plant you see will not likely be eaten, but will keep other plants that the Pica will store next to it, fresh and consumable for many months.

My question is, how do they know that? God helps our little wild friends, so they too can have a productive life.

Snow Geese on the move.

Okay, sometimes we screw up nice opportunities.

The image of a White Pelican and Brown Pelican (two different species) below, was made in south Texas on the Gulf of America. Yes, the Gulf of America.

The size and color, or better said, shade difference between these two is obvious, but unfortunately, the photographer (me), cut the face and head off, (photographically speaking) from the white one.

Close-up. Great White Egret and breakfast.

A wild Bald Eagle with a pretty background.

My partner and I, were wandering a national forest scouting ,locations for a group photo workshop we were to teach the next day, when this opportunity was afforded us a chance for a photo.

Luck counts.

Pose please. I often to speak to my subjects but they so rarely do what I ask.

X rated?

I invaded the privacy of these two dragonflies, but they objected not.

Mudding behavior.

I caught this common behavior with these Swallowtail butterflies and was happy for it. It Is part of the job for a nature photographer to show such behaviors.

Moving on.

Several of you won’t like the remainder of today’s post.

In Christianity, Salvation, is provided through Grace, and genuine acceptance from us, of what Christ did on the Cross. That does not mean, there is nothing more for us to do. Worship and legitimate attempts to follow God’s orders, are part and parcel to Salivation. We will all occasionly fail as the humans we are, but our sincerity of faith, and our desire to please God, along with His Grace, will in the end, carry us to Heaven.

Grace, and faith, in what Jesus did for us, is the only road to Heaven.

Below is a ministry which has devoted its existence to that Biblical truth of Salvation and more. It is even called Grace To You. If you are not afraid of the truth, it is for you. He (the preacher) does not preach so we will love him, he preaches so we will understand the Bible and what it means. And love God. The Triune God.

More pastors should watch him and learn about courage.

Among those who hate him but know the actual the truth, even they do not deny his accuracy and his knowledge.

They do not like what he says, because they do not like what the Bible says.

Subjects like abortion, sexual dimorphism, sex change operations for children, and hatred of our fellow man, are not avoided or short circuited in order to please us.

Not in that ministry.

We should also know how to forgive. All good minstries teach forgivness.

They also teach both Heaven and Hell.

The last half hour sermon I heard from him, was entirely about love and forgiveness. Using the Holy Bible and nothing else, he explained how we need to forgive those who trespass against us, as God forgave us for our sins. Of course, that was done via Christ and our acceptance of His shed Blood and Resurrection.

I Follow qbout 20 minstiries. Once you learn how to seperate the teachers from the tallow, education will ensue.

I do not worship my fellow man, even when they might be a preacher that I find value in. We are all sinners. In or out of any ministry.

Apart from any ministry or preacher, we all have the right and the ability, to choose spiritual life or death. Salvation and life via the shed Bood of Christ, or death to our soul, and an eternity with Satan.

We are possibly in the time of the church of Lao Decia Luke warm on God’s Word, but all fired up about Man’s recreations of that Word.

Reliigion made to keep us worshiping man’s imaginary recreations, rather than God’s actual Creation.

Among the many preachers who I listen to, include several who are old fashioned and preach what this Bible verse or that one, says about how we should treat Uncle Joe or Aunty Emma. They too are important.

Learn what you can when you can, and do not throw away teachers who make those who want “play” Chrisitianty”, uncomfortable.

It is a beautiful, but a serious subject.

Abortion is a subject that remains a hot one today.

I will confess here for the first time, that many, many, many many years ago, when I was a teenager, my girfriend got pregnant, and we, yes emotionally I say we, had an abortion.

It was legal enough, but it was also a sin and a selfish, hateful one.

The audacity of this tiny child to come into my life and try to ruin it. Evan back then, the abortion was legal, and we attempted to discard the thought of her or him,(I think her) as quickly as possible.

Decades and decades and decades later, I still haven’t succeeded.

I guess I should give thanks, that my mother and father, were not of a mind to discard me in such a manner.

I cannot imagine, a woman who had been raped, or is the victim of insest, and how she must feel.

The answer is not, to blame the baby who is within, and kill her or him. They are human beings, and they did nothing.

There will be someone, likely a couple, who will breath life into that child.

Give life a chance.

God Bless,
Wayne
