Well, not the union, just the state of this blog.
I love creating images of what I see around me. Everything in nature, and I mean everything, which is actually the Creation of God. I also have enjoyed many subjects of the creation of man, from old buildings to cars, planes and planted gardens. Many years ago, I even used to do do people photography.
I stopped creating all images for a few reasons. I hit a tough streak financially and could not go anymore, where I wanted, when I wanted. Also it was a time where there would be no new equipment. I walked away and left the creation of images to those who could keep up with the times.
Since then, writing about photography and sharing images made previously, has helped me to remain involved.
If you could see the size of the audience to this blog, both grow and shrink, in accordance with what I write about, one would think I should be selling yoyos.
Recently, as I am sure some of you have noticed, I have been overcome by nostalgia. I have mentioned photography friends and former students who became great friends, because I miss them even more than the act of creating images.
People are important.
I of course write no small amount here about religion and politics as well. Now that’s a sure way to turn friends into enemies. I deserve an award for setting new records in chasing people away.
Sometimes we have to do what we feel we have to do. Of course, finding gentler ways to accomplish that, might be a good thing.
Politics, and even more so religion, and the sharing of one’s opinion of such, is an automatic people chaser, except of course for the small amount of people who walk with you on that journey.
When I reach the point, where I have chased away everybody, do to politics or religion, I will wind out my contract for this blog, and quietly disappear into the distance, where I do not anger so many people.
I do however know this, everybody who has anything worth saying, offend at least as many as they please. That is just the nature of the human being.
I have dished out my fair share of criticism towards certain denominations or Christian claimed churches on this blog. It is more than fair that I be asked to state what that means to me.
A genuine Christian church is “truly” Bible based, with both knowledge and genuine honesty, Christ centered, and Holy Spirit filled.
That is what Christianity is all about. Three primary parts and a lot of little things. Although, what might seem small, is at times huge!
So much for all of that.
Below you will find five photos for your viewing pleasure. The American symbol, the Bald Eagle, both immature and mature. One of my favorite subjects. I cannot describe, the amazing times I have spent with friends, students, and strangers who became friends, while I was in the company of Bald Eagles. When you are photographing wildlife, the subjects themsleves become your friends.

May God Bless,
Wayne
