Nature in and of itself is a fascinating subject, but the colors in nature are worth the trip alone. Of course, without light, there is no color.
Fall leaves on a forest floor have always been an exiting subject to me. I did not rearrange anything as far as memory serves me. Just look down and capture what you see,

Some flowers at the edge of the forest, with some strong mid morning light “jumped out” at me, so I now share that with you.

I think you all know how much I love the red colors of sunrise/sunset. Whether the scene produces silhouettes of obvious subjects, or the scenes become an abstraction of such, is of little concern to me.

Other times your subject, such as this male Goldfinch, will carry their colors where ever they go. Cars make good photo blinds for shots like this, but move slow and only stare at your subject through your camera lens.

Keeping on with color, there is no way to avoid (once again) the subject of flowers.

Finally, some late light on a few Rocky Mt. boulders. Notice the warm light of late day, was composed off center in order to not only give texture to the rock surfaces, but to create shadows in-between the rocks which produce more depth.

The question has arisen, why have I stopped writing about politics? The question, actually first occurred to me.
Sometimes I find it necessary, to ask myself questions.
The smell of writing every week or so, about politics as I once was, became too sad or anger creating for me to enjoy writing.
With that said, the time will come I am sure, when political fodder will once again find its way to these pages.
Okay, maybe just one 0r two politocal obervations before I leave.
With the California/L.A. wildfires, you are seeing liberalism and the California Democrat party, not only exposed but on display for the world to see. It’s all right there.
If I were a Democrat or even just someone who lived in California, I would both change my political affiliation, and move as soon as possible. I would be both ashamed and frightened to live in that state.
This is what the left wants to bring to the rest of us!
Never give up your independence from groups, no matter your politics. Being of independant thought rather than owned by any party is the only way to be fully educated. I always put personal freedom ahead of group freedom.
We see now that in the 2020 election, that Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerburg, with intent, allowed Facebook to both silence the political right, and willfully allow lies to promote the left in order to get Joe Biden elected President.
Good for him in coming clean, but social media by its design, and in and of itself, will naturally contain information that is almost always biased. To some degree, on both sides.

The truth is hard to find, but worth the search.
May God Richly Bless,
Wayne
