Merry Christmas

I would tell you just how many times I have shared a Christmas edition of this blog previously, however, I am not sure I can count that high.

Christmas is the greatest birthday celebration of all time.

Christmas is not about winter, presents, trees with decorations, parties, booze, photographs or other human created things, as nice as they might be or seem to be.

This holiday is about the celebration and commemoration of our one and only Savior, and His birth. He entered this world as a newborn from the Trinity, and walked this earth as a man, so we could have a way of being saved, from the depths of hell that we all deserve.

He died on a Cross (Easter) so we could be washed clean with His precious Blood. He then resurrected. His death was witnessed by many. His life after death was observed by several hundred over a period of time.

It does require something on our part. We need to have faith and acceptance of what He did for us. We need to realize and be grateful for the opportunity to one day, live in Heaven.

Below you will find the lyrics of a great song. .

Mary Did You Know?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know
That your baby boy
Has come to make you new?

This Child that you delivered
Will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Will give sight to the blind man?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Would calm a storm with His hand?

Did you know
That your baby boy
Has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little baby
You’ve kissed the face of God?

Mary, did you know?
Oh, Mary, did you know?

The blind will see
The deaf will hear;
The dead will live again!
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the Lamb!
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Is the Lord of all creation?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy
Will one day rule the nations?

Did you know
That your baby boy
Was heaven’s perfect Lamb?
And the sleeping Child you’re holdin’
Is the Great I Am!

Below we have a few winter images of mine, and a tree.

Yee old Christmass tree. Not my tree or image.

Discovering who we are and what we believe, can take a long time. Some people are fortunate, they learn early, and dedicate their lives to sharing the good part of who they are. They eventually learn to bury and hopefully discard the bad points.

We all have both.

If you are like me, and you are one of those where it takes a (long, long) while to discover, what and who God is, and what you are to do with what you have learned, then fight for it to the end, With your last earthly breath if neccessary.

I’ve always figured, boy, that is difficult. Maybe it is supposed to be difficult.

Do we ever prove ourselves through something easy?

Never give up for what you know to be correct. You will not satisfy those who are angry about your beliefs, and you will destroy your journey.

I know that when the time comes and I stand before God, there will be tears running down my cheeks, but there will be a smile on my face.

Home at last.

God Bless & Merry Christmas Tomorrow
