Today’s title pretty much says it when I comes to photography subjects and photographic treatments of such, in today’s post.
As simple as it gets. A few autumn leaves, and a green out of focus background has always been enough to make my day.

Below was have sunrise on the Mississippi River. This was made from the Iowa Bluffs and this portion of the river is where there are tributaries going every which way.

The next two images are somewhat unique for me as I only on rare occasions photographed zoo animals,
The Meer Cat and the Cinereous Vulture you see below were both captives in the public zoo in Racine, Wisconsin.

The Kingbird you see below almost looks as if he is in a zoo but I can assure you that fence is in my backyard.
Backyard bird feeding stations usually make great places to create imagery of birds and small mammals.

Hummingbirds are a favorite of mine. The images below were indeed captured at a government Hummingbird feeding station. The birds of course are wild and free. Imagery both with or without the feeders being seen is possible and suggested.

On my way home one afternoon from a nice day of photography I kept my eyes open and sure enough, I was rewarded. Several Wood Ducks in a pond covered with you guessed it, Duckweed.

Turtles everywhere. This shot came in a state (Missouri I believe), wildlife preserve. You never know what’s next at the side of the road.

Finally, we have an image of autumn grasses with a group of Bighorn Sheep. I believe, this was South Dakota.

Some days are just good.
I know not about each of you, but I am both satisfied and quite proud of the schooling I received as a child. I speak of K-12, not secondary schooling.
I was not a particularly good student, and was punished a time or two for my misbehavior, or for a lack of study for a test. I deserved every punishment I was given, and I can tell you, I complained not to my parents or the school principle.
Despite my misbehaving from time to time, I walked out educated. You know, the reason why we attended school.
My good schooling did not prevent me from getting into trouble a time or two as I moved into my teens, or to live an unsavory and sinful life for many years later on. It did however along with the values that my parents taught me, cause me to (with the help of God) grow and become better.
I cannot fathom, and I shutter to think, what might have happened to me if my schooling and often parenting was as insane, psychotic and selfish, as much of it is currently.
I think in many respects, children today have it tougher than I did as a child.
In grammar school, every day began with a pledge of allegiance to our flag. One nation under God. Can you imagine that? God and honor for our flag.
How disgusting, I say sarcastically.
We were taught our successes and our failures with honesty. Eventually, we were taught to actually think for ourselves rather than mindlessly follow the crowd.
I have used that basic education and morality, more times in my life than I could ever count.
I want to thank my teachers and schools, for an honest education in which they were invested, and then we became invested.
Simple morality is not difficult to teach, even if at times it is difficult to adhere to. Decency and respect, is the result.
The teaching of hatred and perversion, creates a class of adults who are perverse, and who hate. Imagine that?
Below we have the way most not all presidents used to think.

May God Bless,
