Bad, is as in the Badlands

As a photographer, the Badlands of South Dakota are pure goodness. Nearby Custer State park, and Wind Cave National Park, are also great, be they a bit more wildlife oriented than landscape. All times of day can be great in the badlands.

When it comes to nature photography, birds posing for our cameras is a natural. I never tired of capturing birds in one sort of pose or another. Even when birds appear to be resting, the wheels of the brain are turning, and where they might spot some food, be it be animal, vegetable or, well I guess not mineral, is often what that pose is all about.

When are really close, you may not be able to find an aperture that can make an entire head shot crisp throughout. When all else fails with wildlife, shoot for the eyes. You know, the window to the soul and all that stuff.

Finally, dewy webs. I have made a lot of images of this subject. We all have our favorite subjects and often mine are photogenic, but not spectacular ones such as dewy webs.

I would add below, the willingness to serve God and do what is necessary to exhibit our faith.

I intentionally omitted what is the hottest story in America right now, As usual, when I do something like that, I wind up adding it at the end.

I am proud and happy to see, that many conservatives, including those who are members of the Republican Party, who have never liked Donald Trump, are standing up and being counted, as they are vehemently opposing the shameful misuse of power we saw in that New York City courtroom. An attempt to stifle Democracy. Some are saying that no new bills will be considered in the House of Representatives until this has been rectified.

You do not have to like Trump, to appose this shameful, obvious act. This is not about the morality of Trump. My Christianity says that it is sinful, but so is a large portion of my own past. How about you?

It may not be classy, but you have a right to pay somebody to keep quiet when what they are keeping quiet about, is not in and of itself, illegal. People do it every day. It would be nice if it never happened, but it does. A lot.

If we precluded men who fooled around from being president, FDR and John Kennedy should never been able to run. Has the left forgotten that guy called Clinton? He did many of his deeds while he was in office. There was also a charge of rape.

Do you really believe, that those guys never slipped money to one of their lovers, or in the case of Clinton, one of his victims? Even before they ran for office?

It was well known that Kennedy had young ladies brought to him in the White House while he held offfice. These ladies charged for the services they provided to him. I have little doubt, that he gave them more than their normal fees to keep quiet.

Then of course, there was Marilyn Monroe.

Of course, Trump did what he did before he was President. What Trump did is discusting, not illegal. It is also in the past. With Clinton, his escapades were happening while he occupied the White House.

This is not about election fraud because Trunp hid payments. It is about yet one more effort, (remember the fake Russia and Ukraine colusion?) to thwart democracy.

Along with everything else, this judge clearly broke laws to admit certain things into court. He should be impeached if not charged with a crime.

Our constitution, and what we have called “the American way’, is in danger of extinction as I write this. Soon, no election will proceed without court trials first.

The House Republicans and many who have previously shown distain for Trump, are sharing the anger at that court and judge. That is good. I am seeing Trump haters who now have sworn to stand with him.

You have every right to find dicscust in what Trump did. Your answer would be to not vote for him. Just like in past times Kennedy and Clinton could have been licked out of office for their deeds via an election.
