If everything is your photographic preference, why not share the variety which accompanies that philosophy.
Wetland sunrise. There’s nothing like beginning a day of animal photography, with a moody but glorious sunrise.

Winter is a glorious season for me when it comes to macro photography. Be it frozen streams, lakes or mud puddles, photo studies of the winter ice can be a abstract joy.

Of course late spring, summer and early fall also have their macro subjects.
I do not remember the actual experience of photographing the spider or the beetle below. Still, their images bring me to a remembrance of crawling around on hands and knees and attempting, usually successfully, to find and photograph thousands of subjects over time.

Ahhhh the birds.
I found this female Pheasant on a winter’s day as she strolled through a parking lot. Yes a parking lot. She picked her legs up carefully one at a time to negotiate the snow depth and gave me some nice shots as well.

I remember not whether the two photos below are of the same dancing male Sharp-tailed Grouse or not.
I spent a full morning in a wilderness photo blind creating imagery of the courtship dance of these birds. I loved every moment.

Soaring hawks and blue sky days go good together. The soaring is usually slow enough for photographers to get some nice shots.
I spent many days doing that and am forever grateful I did what I did when I did.

We began this journey with a wetland sunrise, let us finish with a desert and mountain sunset.
I believe this was near the Colorado, Utah border but as I write this, I am not sure which state I was in when I took it. It matters not, as the beauty and the mood of this moment, can be remembered for my lifetime via this photo.
Creating memorable images is not a difficult task, and the memories that live on are worth any hardship we might encounter.

May the Lord be with you,
Wayne
Genesis 1:26
Let us ( the Trinity, Us is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the cattle. and over all the Earth, and everything that creeps upon the Earth.
