Let us begin today’s post with what was a great morning in the field for me.
The images below are of a mamma Robin and her babies. This was made in a state park and the nesting box is just that, a box made by humans for birds to nest in. I remained as unobtrusive as possible. I used a 500mm lens possibly with a 2x tele extender..
I never spooked mom as she worked to keep her babies fed. She trusted me so I made sure to live up to that trust.
Working photographically with wild animals, is in some respects like working with fellow humans. Trust, faith and decency are requested, and supplied for the best results.

A Dab of Paint
Below we have some great paintings through time. A long time ago I would say. The source I used to find these paintings had a few names missing, so I decided to just share the art without names. I am quite sure that they are all deceased.

I would have loved to have painted, but alas I was lucky for the advent of photography so I could “play” with the idea of creating things. Ultimately, it is the subjects of our images who are the artists in photography, whether they know it or not.
I hope you enjoy it when I share painters, other photographers, or things like song lyrics, and especially, Bible verses.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
God Bless,
