No, today’s post is not about snow. It is however, about a short photographic study on the Snowy Owl.

I am thrilled to live in a state where in the winter time, we often have an abundance of Snowy Owls. Especially first winter birds, but there are also “old timers” also. We normally have a nice mix of male and female as well. They are marked the same, but the females are normally larger. They are well equipped, and very capable of protecting their young, although the smaller males do not back down.

Snowy Owls tend to not have a large fear of humans. That is good for photographers, but in general, they would likely be better off being suspicious of the intentions of the human animal.

Remember, these snow white creatures will reflect the light that shines on them. That makes them very interesting in the early or late, golden light from the sun. It also makes in my opinion, for interesting and beautiful photos. They will occasionally, look right at you. In the eyes. I try to stare at them with my camera lens as to make it clear to the owls, I personally am nothing to worry about. Eye to eye contact with wild animals, can be interpreted as a challenge.

This last one is a young first year female. Here we have overcast light. The black markings say she is young, and her large size, although you cannot tell that here, says this is a lady.

On to other things.

Many people today understandably call those who we “think of” as “the left” in America, as socialists or even communists. They are compared to the old Soviet Union. I was once many years ago one of the left, but was never a communist or even a socialist. You did not have to be such, to believe what they had for sale.

Today’s “new” or current if you will left, have become before our very eyes neither socialist or communist. The new “left” is what was once thought of as the extreme faction of the political right. They are fascists on a good day, and Nazis
the rest of the time. We are watching the reformation of Hitler’s Nazi Germany before our eyes.

They still have some of the “government over the people” aspects of the Soviets, but on a daily basis they have become a mirror image of Nazi Germany.

Bigotry, hatred of Jews, a government monarchy that can’t be challenged as long as long as their hatred zeros in on who they choose. Leftists now spread the hatred of anti-Semitism and in many ways, racism. Parents, watch your older children as they seem to be attempting to become the “new haters” of this generation. Better to have back those who rape five year old girls, than a Jew, they seem to be saying.

They are also waging war against our most precious commodity, our children. Those children are lied to, and made less than what they are by those who cast their own perversions on them. It is an attempt, quite knowingly by some, to spread their disease to the youngest and purist among us.

Hitler’s Germany, performed immoral and satanic “mind” experiments on people, but even they normally used adults not children.

If, and I say if, you are a Bible believing Christian, then you know where history is taking us. The fascists of today, are at this moment in some of our universities, paving the way to Hell.
