Let us move out of the realm of close-up or macro photography today. We can stretch our legs for at least a little.
I’ll begin with a spring image.
This little waterfall lives or at least lived at one time, in the North Carolina portion of Smokey Mt. N.P.
I enjoyed the contrast here of “cotton candy” like moving water, and the sharp, crisp greenery of the moss covered rocks.
Contrast can be bad, but it often provides a more artistic vision for viewers.

The red rock of backcountry Utah.
The natural design there begs for images to be made.

Horned Grebe in early March. The bird looks almost introspective.

Bird feeding stations and enticements such as fruits, guarantee photographic success with critters like this handsome Male Baltimore Oriole. He gets fed, you get the picture.

Frogs, as some of you know, are a favorite subject of mine. Many of them really do give photographers nice opportunities. They seem to believe, if they do not move, you cannot see them.

Nothing like taking a rest in the snow. No big deal for one of our most northern U.S. creatures, the moose.

Of course, for me, there is always sunrise and sunset.
I lived for those semi foggy mornings with some nice trees or such to silhouette. It was for me, more than enough reason to get up in the darkness and drive a while in hopes of finding a scene like you see below.

The contradiction, or contrast if you will, of peace and violence qith the sweet morning light, and the wicked waves coming together, makes a nice visual statement.
Sometimes timing is important, if not every time.

Another morning shot. I suppose if one pays attention, others can eat in peace.

A few words.
Evangelizing and passing on the Word, the true Word that the Bible brings us, is the job of any and every truly born again Christian. That’s why I sometimes use the pages of this blog to do so. I pass the Word more so than teach it, only because there are better teachers than I.
My biggest job as a Christian however, is not actually to pass the Word along and bring you to God, through Salvation via a belief in Jesus Christ.
That is the secondary point. The number one reason is to Worship God and
glorify Him to the fullest.
Words come, and words go. Some are more important than others..
Mathew 24:
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And
Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness
will increase, the love of many will grow cold. But one who endures to the end
will be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the
whole world as a testimony to all nations, and the end will come.
John 1:1
In the beginning, the Word (Christ Jesus) was with God, and God was the Word.
Psalm 23:1-6
A psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for names sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff comfort me. You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Have a great day and God Bless,
