Up Close Again + Madder Every Day

I’ll get this close-up thing out of my head soon. I promise. Maybe one more.

Insects and other small living critters are oft times more difficult to photograph than things like flowers, but they are rewarding. Intellectually, on occasions artistically, and once in a while financially.

Groups are often possible in the world of little critters, as you see with these beetles.

On the other hand, singles are more common.

Sometimes they land on your hand. This endangered Karner Blue did just that.

Dragonflies

A slug?

A bee in my backyard. It pays to always be ready.

During the right time of year, it seems there is always a turtle waiting for a camera.

I will end today’s series of close-ups with a reminder that we can use the “macro mode” for in-house studio work too.

I often wonder how many people I have angered and/or offended in my lifetime. Even as a child, one way or another I managed to make people feel the bite of anger.

Occasionally because of what I had done, but mostly from what I have said. The logical thing for someone like me to do, (I say sarcastically), is start a blog. That way I can anger people singularly, and in small groups.

I also often wonder, whether my politics, or my religious writings anger the most people. Maybe I should do a poll.

Wouldn’t it be funny, if it was my photos? It would serve me right.

Of course, the world has never been more touchy than it is now. Half the world is just sitting around waiting to be offended. What can I be mad about today? Those who are offended, are often the worst offenders themselves.

In my case, it would be egotistical for me to think I could garner too many haters, or for that matter supporters as I am just a poor boy with a small blog.

That said, I think I’ll go on a little while and keep and it up. Everybody has to contribute to society somehow. Without offensive people, what would those who are perpetually offended do with themselves?

Offensively yours, and may God Bless,
Wayne
