Birds 3

Today is the final installment of birds, birds, and nothing but birds.

A Swallow takes a gander below to search for food, friends, enemies?

Flight shots take a while to get good at, but once you are, you will spend a large part of your life making them.

Ahhhhh, a Snowy Owl and a winter’s sunrise.

The male Indigo Bunting.

A cedar Waxwing. Chilly days can still have warm results.

Bird feeders, or fruit on a post, not only aid songbirds in keeping their bellies full, they make nice perches for birds like this male Baltimore Oriole.

Edge to edge! Flight bursts of flocks of birds, provide photographers with opportunities

Half of bird photography is about opportunities found like above, and opportunities made like below.

Hours spent next to waterways will provide you with opportunities, just like diving over and over, will provide your subject with opportunities.

Mom, pop, the kids. Time at the water’s edge, provided me with opportunities with some graceful mom and pop swans.

Female Gadwall

Male Northern Pintail. I liked the pose it shared with me.

Male Merganser.

Male Eastern Meadowlark sing his heart out.

Young Pied billed Grebe.

Song Sparrow…..singing in a marsh.

Hungry young tree Swallows.

Mom or pop, eliminating that hunger.

Action and behavior will add much to your portfolio.

Our time in this world is short. Our time in general, is everlasting. After our bodies die, life in Heaven or life in Hell, are the only choices. They are choices, much as if you do not break any earthly laws, you can live freely, but if you do, you will live in prison, as to protect the rest of world from you. At least, that’s the way it used to work.

With a world in turmoil, we still have the choice to be Blessed by God, or to be tormented by Satan. Oft times, Satan seems the way to go because he promises instant gratification. A moment of joy, in return for an eternity of misery.

I’ve tried that life, it does not work. The misery drowns out the joy. I’ve been there!

Hebrews 12: 2
“Looking to Jesus Christ, the founder, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Psalm 1: 1-3
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”

Hebrews 12: 2
“Looking to Jesus Christ, the founder, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

John 10:10
“The thief (Satan) cometh that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I (Christ) came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”
