Today I have for you just a brief photographic journey through a few subjects. I hope you enjoy.
Many photographers run away from backlight and extreme sidelight as if they spread the plague. I think when the light works, it is art.
It of course depends upon the circumstances and the subject. The butterfly below, was perched amongst some foliage, and was the perfect subject.

Coming right at ya!
We better run or this Forster’s Tern might wind up in our mouths.
Almost all my action shots are accomplished with manual focus. In a case like this, it is essential because it is rare when auto focus will follow focus so to speak, with a subject that is coming directly at you. It struggles to comprehend and to keep up.

American Bitterns will stand perfectly still with their head upwards, in the midst of plant life that stands the same way. They actually can be very hard to spot when everything is perfect. When it is not, then we make images that show how they pose.

A female Gadwall (I believe) and her three little Gadwalls. Thank the good Lord for mothers.

I love Brown Thrashers. They seem to always strike nice poses even or maybe especially, when they are looking to one side or the other.

Finding all of these critters take patience, but it is worth it.
I have shared up close, full building shots of the legendary historic San Xavier Mission in Arizona many times before. Below we have a different way of looking (“or seeing”) if you will.
Sunrise

Yet another “point of view”.

There are countless ways to look at any given photo subject. It is the job of the photographer to uncover them and share them.
I wish you all have a fine and productive day, and may God Bless,
Wayne
