Below we Have some late 1960s lsong lyrics. Actually, the 60s were a decade of many artistic and thoughtful words within songs.
Of course, the rythym and timing of the music is always important, but I will stick with what I know. The things people say. Words!!

Crystal Blue Persuation
1969
look over yonder
what do you see
the sun is a rising
most definitely
a new day is coming
people are changing
ain’t it beautiful
crystal blue persuasion
Better get ready
gonna see me the light,
love is the answer
and that’s alright
so don’t you give up now
so easy to find
just look to your soul
and open your mind
crystal blue persuasion, mm mm , its a new vibration
crystal blue persuasion crystal…..blue persuasion
maybe tomorrow
when He looks down
on every green field
and every town
all of His children
of every nation
there’ll be peace and good
brotherhood
crystal blue persasion, yeah
crystal blue persuasion ha ha (repeat and fade)
“The Family Of Man”
(As recorded by Three Dog Night)
PAUL WILLIAMS
JACK CONRAD
This tired city was somebody’s dream
A billboard horizon as black as it seemed
A four-level highway across the land
We’re building a home for the family of man.
Prices are rising, the devil’s to pay
Moving the mountain that got in the way
Prayer books and meetings to find a plan
Deciding the fate of the family of man.
So hard, whatever are we coming to
Yes it’s so hard
With so little time
And so much to do.
Memories replacing the loves that we’ve lost
Burning our bridges as soon as they’re crossed
Factories built where the rivers ran
Time’s running out for the family of man.
So hard.
A few words about the name of the band, Three Dog Night. It is a saying used in Australia.
The native Aboriginal people, normally wore little or no clothing. On a cold night, they would curl up with Dingo dogs that had been tamed to use for hunting. A “three dog night”, was a very cold one.
Now for a few images that are “for the birds”. Then back to words.
Two first winter male Goldeneye Ducks.

A sea of red. A male Cinnamon Teal swimming in a pond which is almost as red as he is from the foliage that surrounds it, and the morning light.

A male Rose breasted Grosbeak, up close and personal.

A new day and a new life. A parent and new baby Sandhill Crane get to know each other soon after sunrise.

An up close look at a bird feather. The skimming light here helps provide us with texture.

I have completely forgotten over all these years, I actually have another blog called The Outsider. It has not been used for a long, long time.
The name was certainly appropriate for me because in many repects, I have always been and remain an outsider when it comes to “normal” thought, and following the crowd.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Do not let man detract you from your journey with God with false religion.
Man wants it his way, not God’s. That includes some churches. Do not be detracted from the truth by those who distort God’s Word to fit their own point of view or agenda!!
A few more words.
A long time ago, I was born into this world, and that gave me life.
Eventually, I was “born again” to God, by the Saving Grace of Jesus, and that gave me a purpose for that life.
I am very, very blessed.
Jesus is waiting for you to accept His invitation.
Thank you for stopping by and may God Bless,
Wayne
