There’s nothing like a forest. They can be beautiful, majestic, sometimes cozy, and full of surprises.
Forests are harbingers of the season. Hardwood forests turn color with the seasons, and then bare themselves to all in the winter.
Being in a forest is special, but oft times standing outside the parameters of the woodland, and looking in, is even better.
Autumn cannot be denied, in the northern hardwoods. This is the interior of three different forests in autumn.

The play of fall colors (and a couple of dark conifers) in a forest, with
a quiet pond can be absolutely mesmerizing. I feel dizzy, in a good way, when I remember this Northern Wisconsin moment.

Of course the rebirth in spring, has its own rewards.

The deeper you go, sometimes the more you find.
There’s life in them there woods.

More from the forest.

Then comes winter. This woodland is viewed from the outside looking in.

Ephesians 2:8
For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourself. It is a gift of God.
Good, Godly Works are a part of Christianity. They do not however earn us a path to Heaven. When someone gives you a gift do you then proceed to try to pay for it?
We (saved Christians) will answer to our Savior at the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven, for what we did and did not do here. If you are a believing, saved Christian, your Salvation will not be lost regardless of what that was.
Despite what some seem to think, God keeps His Word. As it is wrteen in the Word.
The entire point to Jesus taking our beating and humiliation for us, is to provide a way for sinners like me and you, to live in the presence of the one, Holy God.
The Triune God.
Otherwise, you and I would simply never sin again. We would just merely become perfect, as Christ was.
We cannot do it. We are tainted with sin. Even the best of us. We should of course, try, and ask forgiveness for our failures., and do so sincerely.
When you are given a gift, does the giver expect you to pay for it when that giver gave his life for you to have it? Of course, you would need to accept (by faith) that gift or you will not receive it.
One of the hardest things to do can be explaining the differences in the Old Testament and new, in the Bible. Beyond the characters. What is Jewish law and what is everlasting law?
Often, New Testament writers, use the Old Testament to explain what is coming.
Remember, the Jews were God’s people and Israel remains His place of all places. Especially, especially, realize that today. Bible prophesy is playing out before our eyes.
Today, the Jews are as important as can be imagined, including by Christians. We Christians however, are not Jews. In the end, Jews who do not accept Christ as Savior will go the hell just as all others would.
More Jews come to Christ every day, and become Christians. That is a good thing.
Anti-Semitic “Christians” , need to read their Bible and take a good long look at themselves.
No. that does mean that we revert back to Jewish law. On the third day, that ended and we became Christians.
On the third day when He (Jesus) rose, Christianity became the religion of God. Of course the term Christian, came from Christ.
The Jewish holy day, the Sabbath, is Saturday. Christians favor Sunday. Jesus rose from the dead, on Sunday. That was the birth of Christianity.
You can go to church, pray, or rest yourself and your family on any day of the week. Once again most Christians choose Sunday because that was the day of the week that our Savior rose, but any day including Saturday is fine.
It is not mandated, it is your choice.
Old Testament and New Testament (such as John) prophets are important. The true Holy Bible gives us no post Bible prophets. Any such belief would be conjecture and non Biblical. Decided by humans to anoint this man or that woman. A human creation.
The Bible can be twisted and remade as to fit the hearts and souls of man, instead of the Holy God. Man is inherently evil since the fall of man (Adam & Eve) in the beginning. Yes, that means you and I.
The food laws which some Jews still keep, are not necessary for Christians to carry on, as that symbolism is from Jewish law. Eating healthy is a good thing, but it is not a Godly mandate. Teaching that would be truly a salvation by man belief, which is ungodly.
Any religion that diminishes the value of Christ, is not Christian. Period!
If those that do such, are willing to admit they are not Christian, then you at least know where you stand.
I have written on these pages my experiences with Jehovah’s Witness, and with Mormons.
They were both positive experiences with nice people who unfortunately have endeavored to diminish the Son of God. To make Him a “lesser god” if you will. There are other religions that do the same. Despite the fact they all use the Bible to some degree, they often misuse it and they are not Christians. Once again, they are not Christians. They of course, can become such.
They all have the absolute right to believe what they believe and I will stand up for that. As a Christian, I have not just a right, but a sacred obligation to stand up for the Bible, and Christianity and God. The Triune God.
Jesus is often called the Word in the Bible, and that book tells us that in the beginning (creation), the Word was with us. The Trinity has always existed and the Holy Spirit both fills us with Holiness and education, and convicts us of sin. The Holy Spirit is our one true conscience. The Holy Spirit is also, one part of the one and only God. The triune God.
It is a sin to diminish the Trinity, including doing such by diminishing Christ Jesus.
When churches diminish our need for Christ, they increase their power over us. It is not about man’s church, it is about God’s Church. Man, including the people of church, is sinful, God is not.
One of the most difficult things to do, is to explain, and this includes some “normal” denominations, why the Bible says what it says. There are many better than I at accomplishing that goal.
Still, I persist.
In many cases, people worship their churches and their ceremonies, not the one and only God. The triune God. The Trinity. Those services and ceremonies should facilitate Godly worship, not become it.
You can have a pork chop for supper tonight, just as well as a steak, or for that matter a veggie burger. The choice is yours.
For Christian oriented vegans, you can certainly do that and eat what you want. Do not pretend it is Holy, or a mandate from God.
Jesus ate lamb! Of course if you do not believe the Holy position of the Son of God, then you can create the concept of being a vegan as being holy.
He rose on the third (Sunday) day. True Christianity was then born.
The point of evangelizing, or spreading the Biblical Word, is to locate false gods, and also to discover even the smallest aspects of the misrepresentation of the true Word of God.
I am most certainly not a Biblical scholar. Right now I am wondering where I put my pen. I still know more than many church going people. That is not a brag, it is a sad, sad, sad, sad fact. My memory is bad enough that I to some degree, start over fresh each and every new day. That may be a good thing rather than bad.
I do continue to learn, and I continue to search in truth. I am of course, flawed. As are all of us.
That word faith, through knowledge and daily prayer, is the key.
Faith, and prayer.
He bore the sin of the world so we could be free. You can reject it and instead preach what to eat today, or accept it and live with Him in Heaven.
He is likely, coming for His Children not too far in the future. Yes, the rapture, is in the Bible.
The choice is and always will be ours to make. He (God) gave us that choice, with the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus
God Bless,
Wayne
