My favorite season has begun to show itself.
Autumn is a colorful yet peaceful rime of year. It also warns us of harsh times that are comming. At least where I live it does.
Still, it is the quiet season.
There are a million ways to photograph the fall season and certainly large forests dripping in yellow, orange and red in grand landscapes is one way.
Even better, I enjoy small chunks of woodlands, fallen leaves, or the season’s reflections if you will.
Below in order, that is what you will find.

Seasons come and seasons go but the only way to live is to love every season like it is the best.
It is fair to say I am in the “autumn of my years“. I would imagine anyone who is truly young would think, it is actually mid winter for me.
While knowledge and experience are valuable in photography, I cannot stress enough how important your mindset is.
Sometimes a narrow vision of a subject, and what the final use for your image will be, is very important. You may need to fulfill a purpose. In those cases, don’t take your eye off the prize, so to speak.
More often than not, an open mind will lead you to places, subjects, and images you have never made before, and maybe that you have never even seen before.
Light, color, tone, shape, texture and your final composition can be just as important as what the subject is. Approacing photography that way will help open up your mind. You will begin not just sharing images that others like, but iimages that make a statement about who you are, and how, not what but how, you see.
God Bless,
Wayne
