Today I give you four simple images of four simple subjects. Then as is usual, I will have something unrelated to say.
The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee were the first real mountains I ever visited. Springtime in the Smokies is a delight for anyone.
I captured this delicate waterfall many years ago.

One f my favorite subjects, a Red Fox. No, not the old comedian, the canine.

Okay, I love turtles and frogs. Below we have a Painted Turtle. It’s always a benefit to get down to their level if you can. Oft times, a fairly big telephoto lens will allow you to back off and give the subject some space, while leveling down the angle to appear as a close-up.
This one was made with a 105mm lens, with me laying on my belly right beside the subject.

Love or physical passion? Even the most basic critters need to procreate in order to keep their species going.
I imagine I said thank you and wished them a very good day.

This fawn’s mother is just out of sight to our left.
Cute sells!

I never hesitated to create images of birds on feeders and such. It is a part of their story, especially in the suburbs.
Nice poses and often even uncluttered backgrounds make for clean, powerful images.

Common Snipe.

Common Goldeneye on a sunny blue sky (and water) day.
Photography is about light, and light is photography.

If I like turtles, how about lizards? I have a passion for lizards. This is a Spiny Fence Lizard and it was photographed in New Mexico. I could photograph subjects like this all day. If I had the chance.

Okay, there’s nothing quite like a blue sky day, just after sunrise, and a Snowy Owl preening. Nothing!

We began today with the land and the water and let us finish with the same.
I love high mountain lakes and this one was in Colorado, and I was the happy for it.

A small, frozen winter’s lake at sunrise, would make my day every time.

While I was saying hello to a new day at the time, I will say goodbye to this day with that image.
Well, almost goodbye.
I know not how many people, even or maybe especially Christians, understand how likely it is that we are entering one of the most important times in human history.

Roman’s 9, 4-5
4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.
5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
Genesis 12:3I will bless those who bless you (Israel), and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Psalm 122:6
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure to who love you”!
It is horrific to watch, but it was prophesized a long, long time ago.
May God Bless you,
Wayne
