Legends

Today I will share a couple of images from two photographic greats who’s work which I studied and enjoyed when I began my own photographic journey.

There are certainly some similarities between the two, to go along with their uniqueness’s.

Firstly, they are nature photographers who artistically photograph every aspect of nature, and many things outside of it. Including cultures, architecture and so forth.

Art Wolfe

It is the Wolfe’s and Shaw’s of the world that drove the quality and art of outdoor photography to ever higher standards. We all owe them a debt of gratitude.

Below are a few antiques of mine, haphazardly selected. What I would call a rather humble selection.

Western Meadowlark in full song. Looking for a wife I presume.

Southwest Texas. Natural designs abound in nature. We just need to find and share them.

Dramatic light with shadows and highlights, some high color, and texture.

A Sandhill Crane on the search for food. Perhaps mice or voles. They are very omnivorous critters and eat plants and animals.

Enjoy, and photograph the world around you!
