I can’t think of anything more important for a photographer than vision, and I don’t mean eyesight.  I can’t think of anything worse than a photographer who only “sees” superficially. Sometimes it’s a leaf or a flower.  Sometimes they exist together.  Is there something more behind the eyes of that critter?  Is there a pattern to the flight of those birds?  Vision means asking questions and sharing the answers.  Your questions….your answers.

There is always something more that’s just below the surface.

The highways and byways of life take us on an incredible journey.  I am glad that I always remembered the people that I met along the way….noticed the changing landscape….and stopped and smelled the flowers.  I can think of nothing worse in life than to have walked past those people, never looked at those landscapes, or went right past those flowers.  Inhale every good part of life and savor it. Every mile we travel and every step we take is a new journey.
