Yesterday was one of those wonderful days when I and my camera spent a little time visiting with nature.
While I certainly did not produce any earth shattering images, it has been a long time since I have had repeated encounters with an American Kestrel. I had two cooperative birds yesterday and they afforded me some extremely close views. Then I thought, that as long as I was showing Kestrels, I might as well share the rest as well.

What a great series Wayne, that is my “can’t get” bird, you caught some winners!
Thank you Gary! They really never sat for more than a few seconds, but they kept coming back to the same few perches. I just kept returning to the same stretch of road.
Beautiful photography Wayne…love the warmth of the sunrise & the coolness of the fog;
the birds are excellent…so happy you had a chance to get out with your camera!
Thanks Darlene. Nothing like starting the day with a sunrise and some fog, and finishing with some beautiful birds. Hope all is well with you.
