I found (thanks to Art Wolfe) something written recently by the great editorial photographer Bill Fortney.  If you love photography and influential photographers, take a moment and see what he says, and use a little time to follow the links.  You might also find a few of those links on the right side of his web page to be interesting.  There are some people like Bryan Peterson that I did not even know were still active photographers.
