Black-winged Damselfly

Not much to share today but I did manage to catch a few new images of Black-winged Damselflies.

After the images download, please allow time for them to slowly become clear.

Very nice, I always enjoy the colors and irridescence of the Ebony Jewelwings. The only place I ever come across them is near rivers.

    • Thank you Cindy! They are for sure pretty. These of course are out in big numbers right now at Hawthorn Hollow (pets too) . It’s never failed me there. The Calopteryx Maculata (Black-wing) is also the Ebony Jewelwing I believe.
