Made in Nature

After my images have downloaded, they will slowly become clear.

I love photographing waterfowl of all kinds.  That water and all of its colors and rhythms can add much to an image.  The first image below is a pair of female Red-breasted Mergansers.  The next is another of the same with a breeding plumage Horned Grebe, and the third shot is a grebe all by itself.

Swallows are fast busy little birds that most people enjoy.  Through the years I have shared images of Barn Swallows (my favorite) Bank Swallows, Rough-winged Swallows, Purple Martins and those entertaining Tree Swallows such as the one we see below. The much maligned (male) Cowbird in a pensive moment.  This is a rare recent photo. The “class clown” of the bird world, the Gray Catbird. One of my favorite “lil critters” the Thirteen-lined Ground Squirrel. With the sunrise on his chest and the sky on his back, the male eastern Bluebird.  Checking out the nest and committing a violent shake, rattle and roll.

Last we have a small part of a Blazing Star flower with dew on the petals.

I am forever amazed at how a force greater than I, intervenes when I need it the most.  Over and over again.
